A60 marine mineral wool meets IMO SOLAS A60 fire division requirements. According to mineral wool insulation standards, A60-rated slabs must resist flame penetration and maintain structural integrity for a minimum of 60 minutes under fire exposure.
A60 marine mineral wool is a high-density mineral wool slab specifically engineered to satisfy IMO fire division class A60 — meaning the unexposed side stays below 140°C average (180°C max) for 60 minutes under standard fire test. EcoIn’s A60 marine mineral wool has density 90–120 kg/m³ and thickness from 25 to 75 mm, suitable for bulkheads, decks, and accommodation spaces on vessels.
A60, A30, and A15 marine mineral wool slabs all use the same base material but differ in thickness and density to achieve different fire-resistance durations. A60 marine mineral wool provides 60 minutes of fire protection, A30 provides 30 minutes, and A15 provides 15 minutes. EcoIn can supply all three ratings from the same production line.
