OUR STORY
How A Nurse Came To Source Insulation For 60+ Countries
It started from a hospital room.
Our founder, Amy, graduated from a medical university, majoring in international nursing. During her internship in a hospital, she was assigned to take care of a foreign patient who was importing products from China to his country. His Chinese factories spoke little English, and every call turned into a misunderstanding. Amy started translating — then solving, clarifying specs and keeping his orders moving while he recovered.
By the time he was discharged, he had found something no factory had offered him: someone who understood what he needed, communicated clearly, and simply got things done. He asked her to keep handling his Chinese suppliers. That was the beginning.
Amy graduated in 2008 and went straight into export trade. Over the years she specialised in thermal insulation. In 2017 she gave the business its own brand: EcoIn.
What has not changed is the instinct that started it all in that hospital room: listen carefully, communicate clearly, solve the problem — and never oversell. We will tell you what we can do, and honestly what we cannot. In a market full of inflated claims, that is still the rarest thing a supplier can offer.

EcoIn produces insulation under our own ECI brand across 14 production lines in China. We are a manufacturer and exporter serving 60+ countries, with the main products of fiberglass wool insulation, mineral rock wool insulation and aluminum jacketing system. Low bio-resistance mineral wool is under developing, and hopefully to be exported next year.

- Glass Wool Insulation — Available in blanket, board, and pipe section forms, our fiberglass wool products offer excellent thermal resistance (R-value) from density 10 kg/m³ to 96 kg/m³, suitable for HVAC ductwork, wall cavities, roof insulation, and industrial equipment.
- Mineral Rock Wool Insulation — Made from basalt and recycled slag, our rock wool products provide outstanding fire resistance (up to 1000°C) and superior sound absorption, widely used in commercial buildings, shipbuilding, and petrochemical plants.
- Aluminum Jacketing — Our aluminum cladding systems protect pipe and vessel insulation from mechanical damage, UV exposure, and moisture ingress, available in smooth, corrugated, and embossed finishes.
