Stucco Embossed Aluminum Cladding for Pipe & Vessel Insulation
Stucco embossed aluminum cladding is an aluminum jacketing sheet featuring a raised, pebble-like stucco (or “orange peel”) surface pattern. EcoIn manufactures stucco embossed aluminum cladding in alloys 1060, 3003, and 3105, with thickness from 0.4 to 1.2 mm. According to Wikipedia’s aluminium alloy article, alloy 3003 provides superior corrosion resistance compared to pure aluminium, making it the standard specification for outdoor insulation jacketing on pipes and storage tanks.
The stucco embossed finish offers two key advantages for industrial insulation systems. First, the textured surface of stucco embossed aluminum cladding hides minor dents and scratches that occur during installation, maintaining a clean finish throughout the system’s lifetime. Second, the stucco pattern diffuses sunlight reflection, reducing glare on outdoor installations. It’s also called “orange peel” pattern.

- Stucco pattern can reduce sunshine reflect and hide small scratches.
- Light weight: Aluminum is about 1/3 weight of iron or steel, making it easier to handle and less expensive to ship.
- Strong: the tensile strength can be 85-120Mpa, and can satisfy most of insulation jacketing needed.
- Corrosion resistant: they do not rust.
- Easy to fabricate & assemble.
