What is a glasswool needle mat?

The glasswool needle mat is an E-glass fiber blanket that is mechanically needled instead of resin-bonded. Because the glasswool needle mat contains no binder, it releases no smoke or odor at high temperature.

Standard E-glass glasswool needle mat serves continuously at 550°C, while the high-silica version withstands up to 1000°C for short periods. Glasswool needle mat thickness runs 3-25 mm with density of 100-180 kg/m3.

Typical glasswool needle mat applications include exhaust systems, engine compartments, welding blankets, expansion joints, and removable insulation jackets. The glasswool needle mat is often combined with our glass wool products in industrial projects.

Each glasswool needle mat roll is plastic-wrapped and palletized, and every glasswool needle mat shipment includes test reports. Normal production and delivery time is 7-15 days, with TT, LC, and Western Union accepted. It can ship together with glass wool blanket orders.
